Schöne architekturstudie. Zentraler fluchtpunkt, der beim betrachter narrative fantasien geradezu
erzwingt, wie etwa:
 Giulietta B., eine studentin der ökonomischen wissenschaften, verlässt ihr bescheidenes untermietzimmer, um im Caffè Tubino ihr frühstück einzunehmen. Alles ist wie alle tage, die geschäftslokale tragen die vertrauten aufschriften, alles ist an seinem platz. An der bar des kaffeehauses wird der jungen frau allerdings bald klar: ich bin nicht im normalen leben, denn keinen der menschen,
die ich hier sehe, habe ich jemals zuvor gesehen. Die angestellten nicht, und die anderen gäste
auch nicht. Absolut unvertraute gesichter. Was ist passiert? Ein radikaler austausch der
bevölkerung über nacht?  Bin ich noch nicht wach? Rettungslos blockiert in einem bizarren traum?
usw. usf., ad absurdum.

A central vanishing point suggesting storylines, as: Giulietta B., student of economy, leaves her modest student home to get breakfast at the Caffè Tubino, as she does every day. At first, nothing strange happens:
shop signs are the same as known before, everything is at its right place. But while ordering her cappuccino
at the bar of the café, she reluctantly notices that she's unable to recognize even a single face:
not one of the waiters, and not a single one of the clients. What is happening here? An overnight population change ? Am I not awake?
Caught in a nightmare? Etc., etc.
